Some things are hard to improve upon and the HP 12c financial calculator is one of them. I’ve had reason lately to be working a few things out and saw one of these in a shop window. Holding it was like saying hello to an old friend and I caved in.
Amazingly, the RPN approach came back to me right away, despite a break of over a decade. There’s nothing quite like the solid feel of the keys and the layout of this classic for financial calculations in a flash.
