…..hmnnn….what a dull game! I sat down with the usual Cup Final anticipation, but it wasn’t too long before my head was buried in deep in my copy of the Weekend Guardian.
Now, with Chelsea, you run a pretty high risk of a dull game, but at least with United you’re normally guaranteed some fireworks!

It was probably a match better suited to the Champions League final than the FA Cup, I’ll give you that.
But, on the other hand, it was a better game than 2000, when we beat Aston Villa and they didn’t even manage a decent shot on target.
The final against Arsenal at the Millenium stadium WAS exciting, but we lost and boy oh boy was that a long trip back to London!
