At Lunctime I picked up a set of three ruled Moleskin journals, in the 19×25 size. Why? Well this morning, I reopened some old files, my old PhD notes, the never secured book on theology and film and some other old essays. As things stand, these are not likely to see the light of day if I wait for conventional publishing routes to emerge.

So, I’m going to slowly bring them back to life. The film and theology book is one that interests me most. I know all the publishing advice says don’t finish a book without a contract but, you don’t get prizes for perpetual procrastination either.

Maybe lulu.com is not such a bad idea after all?

Thanks for making me laugh, Fernando. “you don’t get prizes for perpetual procrastination”.

I like it. And go ahead and write. If for nothing else you can say it was something you actually finished (which is often significant enough for me).
