Ken Livingstone, Mayor of London is weighing up plans to introduce a £25 (US $45) charge on 4X4s and SUVs entering Central London. This is an increase from the existing £8 congestion charge, with pricing linked to CO2 emmisions.
Whilst I hope it doesn’t have an adverse effect on businesses in the region, I have to say I’m in total agreement. Such vehicles, as private cars are not compatible with the mixed usage, dense roads of Central London. I say go for it Ken!!!
