Love Like An Artist
The advice to steal like an artist has become popular in recent years. I don’t agree with that way of approaching art.
Artists don’t see something they want and steal it, they see something that moves them and fall in love.
Don’t steal like an Artist.
Love like an Artist.
Stealing is a fundamentally consumerist way of approaching the world.
Stealing assumes liberation comes through the acquisition and stockpiling of things, skills and achievements.
But, the only true freedom comes through love.
Love transcends consumerism.
Love humanises us.
All great art is an act of love-making.
