Doing The Virtual Housekeeping

Most of today has been spent tidying computer files. In particular I have been activating the backup facilities of my .mac account and figuring out how to manage the syncronisation between the Powerbook and iMac. The external 250GB firewire drive is proving very helpful as a shared drive between the two machines for image and especially music files. Even though my music is not overly electronic, I have in a short space of time aquired a rather large collection of samples and loops, not to mention files related to the album and the Berklee courses.

Next month I will use this time to explore running one of the Macs as a Logic node in distributed audio mode.
