Double-take. Initially I did think it said “contemporary” and only noticed on the second read that the “con” was missing. How true.
This morning in our church (which would be classified as “contemporary”), we had a small part of the “praise and worship” section lead by a person from a different culture. Then we had someone share briefly about their recent trip to Africa and how the Swahili worship time was just awesome! Reading the sign you’ve posted made me realize that the main difference in “traditional” and “contemporary” forms of worship is also, actually, a cultural difference to a large degree.
Our humanity should be enhanced by technology not threatened by it.
The year 2025 is the time for a site redesign. So, I’m thinking about what matters and what might...
