What a joke!

Each club gets 25,000; but, the allocation to suits, prawn sandwich eaters and hangers-on (i.e., sponsors) comes from within that allocation. 17,000 tickets go to debenture holders and the remaining 23,000 goes out on the whim of the FA. No wonder the Blues saw fit to make the following statement,

‘At a meeting today Chelsea FC was advised by the Football Association of the allocation to the clubs for the FA Cup Final at Wembley. We were very disappointed to receive this news as many of our regular fans will now miss out on a great day for both clubs.’

Barely more than half the tickets will go to regular fans of the two teams. Loads of season ticket holders will miss out. No doubt it will be the quietest and least colourful FA Cup Final ever. Certainly a long way from the spectacle I grew up watching with awe and wonder!

Thank goodness I made to the last Chelsea appearance at Wembley: great day and a great win (even if it was a dour match).

This is terrible Im a season ticket holder and I woke up at 6 to get a ticket I went online and it took me 3 hours to log in as chelsea were experienceing high demand by the time I got my credit card deatils in I lost my tickets as my session timed out.
I logged in instantly clicked on the match and it was sold out i missed 2 hours of school for nothing.
Not even all season ticket holders are gaurnteed a ticket. The FA say that they are giving 1,500 more tickets than the last final when Cardiff is a 75,000 capacity stadium. The FA dont care about the fans. No chelsea members got tickets except 500 who go to almost every match . 5000 more wont hurt for both teams. I know people who queued up at 4:00 in the morning and were denied a ticket ,Chelsea had to sell them earlier as theye had enough fans at midnight already.Chelsea had to turn away season ticket holders. Chelsea even agree with me by saying they are dissapointed. Someone needs to stand up to the FA

Losing tickets in a timed out session – i know that pain – that how I missed out on Barcelona last year.

I agree the club are in an impossible situtation. It’s the way the FA has set it up.

FWIW, I remember the last FA Cup at the old Wembley – no season ticket holder missed out and for the charity sheild a few months later any member who wanted them could get a ticket. Times have changed.
