Organising Logic Pro Plugins

In this week’s YouTube video I take a quick look at how to organise Logic Pro plugins. Recently, Apple gave us the ability to customise the plugin navigation menu, when searching for and adding plugins to channel strips.

Since most Logic users have lots of third party plugins, this can be a great way to speed up your workflow, by creating lists of favourites, or putting the folders into a structure that suits your process. You can even customise the name of the plugin and the short name, that appears in the channel strip in the information or mixer window.

My goal, for 2016, is to produce a YouTube video a week from the studio. I’m trying not to overthink this. Just what I’m doing, or something I’ve learnt, that week. I’d always hoped to do more of this on the blog, but the sad truth is writing in depth technical articles or reviews takes up a lot of time. Maybe I’m too much of a perfectionist in print. Short videos like this might not be as precise as the articles I’ve written in the past, but they are a lot of fun to produce and making them is easier to fit into my schedule.
