It can be very revealing to audit the little things you say in everyday conversations. Here’s a few things I caught myself saying this week,
“I would like to buy a Mac Pro please.”
Quite possibly the most expensive sentence of the year.
“I don’t drink coffee from paper cups.”
A not altogether true outburst in response to being served an espresso in a tiny paper cup (Pacific Coffee are a large hain here in HK who regularly serve inhouse drinks in disposable cups rather than their readily available washable cups and mugs).
“Slow Down!”
My most commonly uttered phrase when in a HK taxi.
“It was working this morning.”
Don’t you love the way credit cards commit random acts of character asassination.
“No, we’ve been coming here for a year and a half.”
In response to the always poorly conceived question – “are you new to this church?”
“Do you have one in black?”
Old habits resurface while clothes shopping.
