I keep being asked what I will do in Hong Kong and how I feel about the move. I try my best to answer these questions, but deep down I’m not sure I realy have an answer to either. Mostly I just feel to tired to talk.
These sorts of transitions are always odd and a little disorienting. This one more so because we have had to work so hard at adjusting to India and Hong Kong represents a weird sort of challenge in terms of culture shock. One the one hand it is modern and developed, but on the other hand it is neither western nor familiar (in a deep sense).
We will see what this trip brings.
