OK, so it is not a cutting edge new appliction of technology, but I would love to receive Garrison Keillor’s Prarie Home Companion as a podcast. It seems, according to their FAQ that the issue is with how to fairly deal with the music copywright, which is fair since the guest musicians are such an intergral part of the show. However, Prarie Home Companion could surely use one of the Creative Commons licensing arrangments to handle this.

I think Prarie Home Companion would be a huge hit as a podcast (especially in this new era of political satire), opening it up to new markets (and in turn opening new markets for the musicians who perform on it). Let’s hope it becomes a podcast soon.
