Staff Benda Bilili are an amazing congolese band made up of handicapped musicians. They have recently made the news because of legal action against a UN agency, following the use of a song to promote democratic elections. Apparently they were paid a nominal amount to record and appear in the video for the song, Let’s Go and Vote, but in the wake of the massive voter turnout, the band feels they should have been better compensated.
