Peak Oil…

A while back I posted some thoughts on the recent US Presidential Election. There I made reference to something called the “peak oil” hypothesis (pdf file) and it’s possible relation to the Bush Adminstration’s Iraq policy. Well today’s Guardian features an article entitled The end of oil is closer than you think, which goes into more detail about this. Without doubt this is now one of the big geo-political issues for the near future.
