C has developed the habit of turning any book or magazine into a storybook about her favourite current interest, whatever that might be. This morning she flicked through the local street directory whilst telling me a lovely story that was very loosely based on the plot of the film Shrek 2. After that, she reached over a grabbed a copy of a magazine whose cover had pictures of both John Kerry and George W. Bush. She looked at the magazine for a moment then proclaimed, “when Pinocchio comes.”

Hey Fern, glad to see you have a response section on your web site. I was just chewing on a bit of lunch, click through my favourite links, and thought I see what was happenning in your world.

Aren’t kids imaginations unreal (thought I’d throw in one of those gross generalisations you mentioned in another entry!!). It sounds like Carmen’s imagination is working just fine.

How’s life in India? I tried to send you a few emails but you must have changed your address since being there.

We’ve had a big year. We moved back to Sydney last March, are living in Engadine and I’m working in Sutherland. Bit of a shock after being in Wagga for so long. We moved back mainly for family reasons. Mum health has deteriorated quite a bit over the last 18 months and we wanted the kids to be closer to her.

Anyway, I won’t gabble on too much here. Send me your email if you like.

Take care and love to the fam.
