C has developed the habit of turning any book or magazine into a storybook about her favourite current interest, whatever that might be. This morning she flicked through the local street directory whilst telling me a lovely story that was very loosely based on the plot of the film Shrek 2. After that, she reached over a grabbed a copy of a magazine whose cover had pictures of both John Kerry and George W. Bush. She looked at the magazine for a moment then proclaimed, “when Pinocchio comes.”
