A year ago today I launched my book.
I’ve already written plenty of reflections on the process of writing and releasing the book and put everything I learnt about creating a publishing startup together into a video you can find on YouTube. I don’t want to go over all that again.
Instead, I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who bought the book, to everyone who supported the launch by tweeting, emailing, blogging and sharing messages, by going into local bookstores and ordering a copy, or by buying one online. Some folks even ordered multiple copies so they could give them away to friends and colleagues. Thank you!
It’s been deeply moving to read all the messages from people who enjoyed No Missing Tools, especially those who’ve been inspired to give more time to their personal creative work. That makes the whole adventure worthwhile!
There’s no plan for another book at the moment. I’m sure, in the future, I’ll sit down to write something, but it won’t be the same kind of book. No Missing Tools was a one-off, something I needed to write and something long-term readers of this blog wanted to read. In a way it was the final act in an important chapter of my life.
