Kanwar Yatra

Of all the religious festivals in India, Kanwar Yatrais the one that most caught my imagination. A Passage From India has a short post with some pictures.

We used to have overnight stations for these pilgrims setup near our home and a few times I got out and spoke to the guys (usually with translation) about their journey. I thought a few times about making a documentary about the pilgrimage and to be frank, I regret not having done it.
