“Hong Kong used to stick to London, but now it sticks to China” – that’s how my daughter, recently turned 6, explained today’s celebrations to mark the 10 year anniversary of the hand-over of Hong Kong to China. It’s not a bad definition and a pretty good analysis of the political climate.
