On Monday, C enjoyed a book reading (and signing) session with Julia Donaldson, author of several of her favourite books, including The Gruffalo and The Snail and the Whale. It was exciting to see her enjoying the stories brought to life with song and actions. Moreover, it was exciting to see that she is udnerstanding that these books don’t just appear magically on the bookshelves, but that originate in the minds of real, normal looking people.
