Techno… who?

As a blogger that has little idea what technorati does, I really would worry.

If it helps, I recently added you to my blogreader or doesn’t that count with Technorati.

Thanks everyone. The comment was a little cheeky on my part, but the encouragement is very much appreciated.

At every point in the blogging journey I’ve traded quality, depth and breadth for the obvious moves that could make the blog more “popular.” But the ranking did dip quite suddenly, which seemed to merit at least some sort of comment.

FWIW, I checked the site statistics for the past few months and unique visits have been slowly but steady climbing to record highs.

Go figure.

keeps ya humble, doesn’t it

(my blogs numbers are going up…not that it matters. really. it doesn’t. i don’t even care. i write for personal expression. but the site meter is cool. the Techno ping, well, that’s just a tool. Really. Just a tool. So what if international visitors lurk by my blog everyday. I’m not counting.

So hey, I gotta jet. I think my blog readership just doubled in the last hour thanks to my controversial series on Yosemite. πŸ™‚

we will be in hk in four months and 11 days from now. whoo-hoo……..!

Yes it does keep me humble, especially as the ranking, or as Technorati now calls is, authority, keeps going down.

Funny thing, I’ve never cared about being popular, but being told my authority is going down seems to imply something else again.

It’s a funny, funny thing.
