If I had started the year with a promise to make this blog twice as successful during 2006, no doubt readers would have scoffed at the claim.
Over the weekend I had reason to check if my blog setting were correct and dipped into the statistics. What I found was, upon reflection, rather surprising. For every metric I could find (links, unique visits, pages viewed per visit, you name it), this blog had doubled over the last year.
I’ve said before that the change of cities has made it easier for me to blog more freely and given a greater amount of creative thinking time as well. But also, I’ve tended to follow my nose a little more over the year, paying a lot less attention to what the a-list bloggers are saying (and even less to the how to make the a-list style advice).
Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read this blog and for your part in making this blog twice what it was.
