After an all too short sojourn in London, we are back in Delhi. Sadly, we simply didn’t get to visit anywhere near as many people as we had hoped to see, with L having some work commitments and C unwell for a few days with a cold. However, we will be back for 2 weeks at Christmas.
For me the three highlights of the trip were a visit to Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea play, taking C to Hyde Park (with the rehersals for Proms in the Park playing in the background) and catching up with friends from our NCT pre-birth classes (the whole group made it). It was also great just to back in London again, which frankly feels more like home than Sydney these days.
I managed a rushed visit to the Apple store and walked out with a few things, including a new powerbook. The Wi-Fi revolution has certainly passed me by, but this new toy should help me stay in touch better on my travels over the next few months.
Oh and as for that little Cricket encounter, well done England.
