Back From Dubai

We are now back in Delhi. There is no doubt that our last day in Dubai was tough, none of us wanted to leave the beach and return here. Still, we are back rested and getting into the week.

I have a lot to report and some pictures to post. In particular, there is a lot to say about the way Dubai is growing and the whole question of it’s postmodern nature. In fact I was pondering this whilst dining at the wonderful Tagine resturant (in the Royal Mirage hotel). The experience (great food, musicians flown in from Morrocco, facisimilie-perfect recreation of the architecture) reminded me of my favourite article on postmodern dining.
