Personally I am not a fan of having multiple blogs. I understand the logic behind it, especially for those who want to link blogging closely to professional interests. However, it is something that runs counter to my goals as a blogger.

However, I have been seriously considering starting a new blog aimed directly at sports, sports commentary and sports travel. My feeling is that content needs a different kind of blog to the one run here. Nothing is decided, but it is something I’m pondering.

That said, I do want to specifically cover a little more on sports in terms of theology and culture. Today I was looking back at some notes I made when restarting this blog and the rols of sport in contemporary culture was high on the list of things I wanted to cover. In particular it seems to me that as theologians cover contemporary life, they seem to negate making any deep comment (or any comment at all) on the huge role sport plays in modern society (and especially in globalisation).
