Greetings From A New Screen

I’ve been stalling on my new Mac purchase (more on that to come), but today decided to solve a few headaches by buying a new screen and new wireless keyboard.

So this is my first post using both and the 23 Inch Apple Cinema display is a total treat! It took close to zero effort to install and my little 12 Inch Powerbook detected it straight away and went into two screen mode.

This afternoon I booted up Logic with the two screens and realised why my mix/editing energy has been so rundown. Instead of endless window-switching, I had the arrange window across the top of th large screen showing me 65 bars of music at a useable resolution andbelow that a full 32 tracks in the mix window. On the small screen I had no less than 8 plugins open simultanously, with a few other things lurking beneath.

I could get used to this.
