In the draft version of the theology and film book that never-was, I had some space for discussing film music, but after three weeks of this current Berklee course on Film Scoring, I can see that really needs to be elaborated upon.

I wish I had a good answer for you! I’ve heard Jeremy Begbie, who teaches at Cambridge I think, give a wonderful address on this topic at the Edinburgh meeting of the media, religion and culture groups, but I don’t know if he’s written anything on it. I hope YOU will write about it, because soundscapes are crucial, and someone trained as a musician and a theologian would have much to offer.

Thanks for the comment Mary. In the absence of any work on the subject, I will go ahead and do some writing (well intially some blogging). I’m sure someone would be interested in publishing it (he says with insane naivete!).
