Creativity And Improvisation

Joe Damian, author of one of the best Guitar Improvisation books I have read, has a very interesing article on Berklee Today entitled Playing In The Moment. Damian outlines the experience of teaching a creative workshop for improvisors and it is a very telling reminder of how attentiveness to the basic elements of a musical context can improve our improvisations and helps us stay in the present as players.
