We decided to avoid the maddening crowds thronging to see the latest, sold out, much hyped blockbuster and instead headed for a much more low key film event, playing in a smaller cinema. In many ways it was a typical night Indian night at the cinema (screaming babies and children, constant mobile phone conversations, fifteen minute intermission with advertisments right in the middle of the most dramatic scene in the film). No doubt the blogosphere will be awash with commentary on the various nuances of the relationships between Anakin Skywalker, Darth Bush and Obi-Wan the Baptist. But for now, I would like to pay credit to the true star of the film, and in fact the true star of everyone of the Star Wars films, for another exceptional performance.
