92 Days And Counting

Last year I set myself a big goal for 2012. It was a radical move to close my doors to new clients and use the available time to focus on personal projects and also to rethink my direction for the future.
“No new projects, no new clients, no sales pitches, no networking, no marketing, no branding, no seeking influence, no driving online traffic, no conferences, no workshops, no more business/industry/creativity books or blogs and no new online or social media services/platforms/add-ons.”
92 Days And Counting
Well, today is the 1st of October; the start of the final quarter of the year. Including today, I have 92 days till the end of this crazy adventure, 92 days to finish the projects I’ve started for this year, 92 days to try and make this seem like it was all worthwhile.
To be honest, in the past few weeks I’ve been getting ahead of myself, thinking about 2013, dreaming new dreams and scheming new schemes. But, as they say, I have unfinished business.
My To-Do List
Here’s a sample of what’s on my to-do list,
Release at least one track of new music for sale on Bandcamp and iTunes
Complete professional, third party review of photo portfolio
Draw up plan for gallery show of new photographic work for 2013/14
Consolidate and continue to expand film review project – The Society for Film
Full launch of food blog – Beef & Steel
Finish project studio build and kitout
Launch of new personal podcast project
There’s a few other things I’m not ready to talk about just yet and, of course, ongoing projects. But, as you can see, there’s a fair bit to do in these final months.
What about yourself? How is this year going and what do you have on your plate between now and the end of 2012?
