Last Friday I was in London and I’m ending this week in Adelaide. In between, there were a few days at home in Singapore, to wash clothes and recharge batteries.
I’m settling in for a few weeks of winter weather down under. It’s a time to visit family, create photos and dream about the future. I’ve always done my best thinking on long winter walks along the beach.
This month marks one year since I left Hong Kong and moved to Singapore. Although it’s been a tough, often disorienting year, I have a lot to be thankful for and in some ways, it’s been a very good move indeed.
But, for now, I just want to enjoy the bracing cold wind on my face and the feeling of big, wide open spaces.
